Our Story
We were the guys who defeated every content blocker on the market. We knew every bypass. We’d set up elaborate systems to stop ourselves, and then tear them down at 2 AM like they were made of paper.
We lost years. Real years. The kind you don’t get back. Our 20s bled into our 30s and we woke up one day wondering where it all went. Relationships we sabotaged. Careers we stalled. The best years of our lives spent in a fog of shame and secrecy.
So we built a system with real friction, local detection, and accountability. It does not promise perfection. It is designed to make an impulsive choice harder to hide and easier to stop.
Simple extensions and settings are easy to turn off. Shamefull adds device-specific friction and accountability.
Architecture
Mac and iPhone use different protection methods, coordinated by one account.
An on-device machine-learning model analyzes Mac screenshots. The image classification stays local unless an explicit-content alert is triggered.
When the Mac model detects explicit content, Shamefull can send a screenshot to the accountability recipients selected during setup.
The Mac app protects an iPhone over USB and installs a supervised Control D DNS profile in the same setup flow.

Real accountability and friction
Shamefull uses local accountability on Mac and supervised DNS protection on iPhone.
Friends Beta
The first release supports Apple Silicon Macs and iPhones protected through the Mac app.
Friends Beta
This first release is intentionally limited. Beta users will validate installation, Mac alerts, iPhone setup, cancellation delays, and removal-code recovery before a public launch.
Questions
Shamefull combines on-device Mac analysis, accountability alerts, and supervised iPhone DNS protection. The subscription pays for the service and the friction it creates; no blocker can honestly guarantee that it is impossible to bypass.
Cancel from the billing portal. Protection remains active during a 72-hour delay. After the delay, the Mac app deactivates automatically and eligible iPhone removal codes are available in the dashboard and cancellation email.
On Mac, Shamefull uses a local machine-learning model to analyze the screen and can alert recipients you choose. On iPhone, the Mac setup flow supervises the phone and installs a Control D DNS profile. The two devices use different protection methods.
No. Shamefull is designed to add meaningful friction and accountability, not to make an absolute security guarantee. The friends beta supports Apple Silicon Macs and iPhones; Windows, Linux, and Android are not part of this release.
Mac classification runs locally. When Shamefull detects explicit content, it can send a screenshot to the accountability recipients you selected. iPhone DNS requests are filtered by Control D. Subscription and device status are stored by the Shamefull backend.
The friends beta supports Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 13 or later and iPhones protected through the Mac USB setup flow. Windows, Linux, iPad, and Android are not supported in this release.
